Due to several scheduling conflicts this event is being rescheduled.

Get ready to race in your own tube down up to 10 snow tubing lanes that are all 1000’ long as the Katinonkwat Chapter heads to Avalanche Tubing Park at Mad River Mountain.

The Chapter will be meeting at Mad River Mountain at 9:45 on Saturday January 12th to purchase our $25 tubing passes. These passes are good for 3 hours of tubing from the time of purchase so we need everyone there on time so we can all purchase tickets and get tubing.

Guidelines
There are no minimum/maximum age or height requirements at Avalanche Tubing Park.
They only allow one person per snow tube.
They do allow tubes to be “linked together” so that you can create a chain to go down the hill together.
Each rider must sign a waiver at the time of purchase as well as display their valid tubing ticket on their person at all times.
Only feet-first tubing is allowed at the Avalanche Tubing Park.
It’s best to dress in warm layers that you can and add or shed depending on the outside temperature. A waterproof top-layer is recommended, as well as warm socks and winter boots (no ski boots are allowed). Also don’t forget a hat and gloves!!

Facilities
You can purchase food and drinks from the Mad River Cafeteria for an extra fee so please plan ahead if you will be purchasing anything to eat or drink.
